Chamberlain Bridge

Chamberlain Bridge is one of two bridges that cross the inner basin of the Careenage, Bridgetown's marine inlet channel.

The original swing bridge was built in 1872 but has recently been replace with a more modern lifting bridge.

The bridge is lifted to allow yachts and other vessels to leave the inner harbor for the sea.

The water that flows under the bridge flows from the Constitution River.
