Walk from Port to Town

The walk between the Bridgetown Cruise Port and downtown Bridgetown is both pleasant and scenic.

Upon leaving the terminal, passengers can enjoy the seaside walkway that runs along Princess Alice Hwy.  This picturesque pathway is shaded and offers magnificent view of the Caribbean Sea.

On route to town, cruise passengers will pass the Pelican Village Craft Village (on the left) and the Bridgetown Fish Market on the right.

Princess Alice Hwy eventually becomes Hincks Street and subsequently Wharf Road, which runs along a inner harbor (called the Careenage), which ends up in the heart of Bridgetown at the National Heroes Square and the Parliament Buildings.
